Magnetic Fridge Organizer FAQ’s

What are magnetic fridge organizers?

Magnetic fittings mean you can put it up instantly, and try out different positions until you find one which is right for you.
There are hundreds of different magnetic fridge organizers on the market; a large fridge door rack to hold food, a tiny fridge caddy to keep your car keys in an easy-to-find place, a wipe-clean fridge mounted organizer for writing shopping lists.

Is it OK to put magnets on a refrigerator?

No, it is not bad to put magnets on the fridge. It has no effect on the function of the fridge. It is safe to say, that fridge magnets do not harm the function of your fridge, and you can still use neodymium magnets to pin stuff on your fridge.

What is a fridge magnet collector called?

A collector of refrigerator magnets is called a memomagnetist. It is derived from the words memorial (Latin for memory) and magnetis (Greek for magnetic). There are names for other collectors, too: philatelist (stamps), numismatist (currency), and lepidopterist (butterflies and moths).

Is the side of a fridge magnetic?

Many refrigerators use a different material, often black in color, on the sides, and the sides are often magnetic. If you have one side of your refrigerator that shows in your kitchen, perhaps beside the cabinets, hang your magnets there instead of on the front.

Can you make your own Magnetic Fridge Organizer?

Creating your own fridge magnets is a popular activity to do with your friends, family, and children. By simply purchasing a handful of ferrite magnets or self-adhesive Neodymium magnets you can begin turning almost anything into a funky fridge magnet.

How do you protect a fridge from magnets?

Magnets with raised surfaces and sharp corners can cause scratching on the surface of the refrigerator; especially shiny surfaces such as stainless steel. To prevent this from happening, use vinyl magnets that do not have raised surfaces or sharp corners. Vinyl magnets sit flush against the refrigerator.

This set of Magnetic Spice Dispensers allows you to keep your spices close at hand on your refrigerator or appliance doors.

The tins feature see-through windows with openings to either pour or shake. Tight fit lids will not pop off. They are lightweight but durable and easy to clean.

What Our Testers Say

These are perfect. So happy to have my spices off the shelf, and up on the door where I can see them ALL (and they’re even organized alphabetically). One tip, if you’re putting labels on, turn the container so the ‘sprinkle’ lid is in the upper right hand corner.

This will keep very fine spices (baking soda, for example) from leaking out when on the steel base. Unfortunately, I discovered this after the fact – I just had to turn the culprits over, so the label now reads upside down, not a big deal.

I absolutely LOVE these spice jars. Good quality with a heavy magnet. I have never had any problems with them falling off or spices falling out. Watch the video for more about why I love them! Like the video if you thought it was helpful!

Not only are they easily mounted on your appliances but the strong magnets will stick to each other as well for optimal space-saving storage.

Bulky plastic wraps and aluminum foils can make drawers feel crowded and junky. What’s worse, when you open the drawer, they always seem to get stuck.

End this frustrating cycle by sticking one of these wrap holders to any metal surface, like a refrigerator door. Keep wraps, foils, and parchment close at hand yet out of the way.

What Our Testers Say

I really like this but the sizing is kind of weird if you only have 3 rolls of things it would work but I wish it was longer and could fit 4 or 5 rolls. I have parchment paper, wax paper, foil, plastic wrap and trash bags. It would be perfect if it could fit all of them or even to have space for zip sandwich bags.

I put 3 rolls in and they fit but have a lot of room between them but not enough room to fit another roll so it feels like a waste of space and yet not enough space to utilize more. Love the look and the magnets are strong but wish it was longer to fit a few more rolls. Please make this longer to fit more rolls!

This wrap holder can stick to any metal surface easily, to maximize space and keep wraps and foils upright and close at hand. Perfect for the refrigerator door. Alternatively, use for art supply stores or in a bathroom to hold beauty appliances.

What Our Testers Say

I have quite a few items from Yamazaki Home in my home, and I’m always impressed with the thoughtful design, sturdiness and quality for money. This item is no exception. I purchased this on a whim, and didn’t realize how useful it would be.

The magnet is stronger than I was expecting and we are able to put 4 kitchen towels on it that we used to hang haphazardly over the over or fridge door handles. The arms are sturdy and will stay in the place you put them.

Fan them out to dry wet cloths or tuck them together to make a nice, neat line of the readily accessible dish towel.

Fits perfectly on the side of my fridge and is exactly what I needed. I needed a paper towel holder but I didn’t want to get a counter one because I love having a lot counter space so I decided. To look for one that could go on my fridge as I don’t have really anything on my fridge and it would make for a great space to put a paper towel holder.

I saw this one and the price wasn’t too expensive and it’s extra storage is plus. The magnet is very very strong and i am very happy with it! It took less than two minutes to put together

Eased up your cabinet space and made your spices and extracts easier to find. It is a very good storage rack, suitable for spices, pepper, salt, sugar, Jar of olive oil, cooking oils, pepper, or other small things.

The dimension of each basket is about 15.5” W x 4” D x 2.5” H. Perfect for storing spices, condiments, canned goods, cups, plastic wrap, and more. Easy create extra space and integrate it into your house.

What Our Testers Say

This is a pretty substantial shelving unit, I was not expecting it to be as large, sturdy, or capable of storing as much as it is and does. I have nearly all the spices that I had sitting out next to my cooktop on one shelf, leaving me three more to fill. I have a lot of spices so that isn’t going to be a problem for me. Depending on the size and shape of your spice jars you can easily have two rows in each shelf. It has already saved me a good deal of space on my counters and cabinets, not only was I able to move my stand mixer where I’d had my spices, but I am going to free up an extra drawer and cabinet space!

This goes up fast and easy without tools. The magnets are so strong that I didn’t use the two sided tape. This saves me drawer and countertop space. Really a good organizer for small spaces. Very sturdy. I decided to use mine for water additives, the dogs medication and supplements. It all works great.

Save your precious countertop, cabinet space and keep them clear of clutter, which answers your need for extra storage perfectly. Especially for a small kitchen, apartment, or limited space.

What Our Testers Say

I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this item. Taking it out of the box I was afraid it would be in a million pieces to put together but everything was in one piece- just took folding down a couple shelves and it was ready to hang. The magnet is super strong and I have no concern about it falling even filled with spices. The paper towel holder is fantastic and holds the towels securely but is easy to get on and off.

It also has a couple hooks where you can hang a hot pad or kitchen tool. I hung it on my over-the-range microwave but it would also work perfectly on the refrigerator. By the way, it also came with screws if you prefer not to use the magnets. Excellent product!
