The old fridge was 18 cu. ft. and with only an additional 1.5 inches of depth, this new one has 20.9 cu. ft.
My kitchen is small, so size and capacity were really critical. I do not find the GDE21EGKBB to be noisy at all. The reviewer who wrote that care must be taken to ensure the door closes completely was right. A quick, back-hand push won’t do it. You’ll need to consciously close the door. I have not raised the front feet as mentioned in the manual. That would probably create enough of a “lean back” to solve the problem. This fridge is black.
